Get in on the Mug Club!!!
Rock Bottom Brewery
I love Rock Bottom. Apparently there is one in Colorado and somewhere else, but this was the first one I have ever been to. All of the servers, bartenders, and hostesses are really cool. One of my friends and I have frequented this place for a few months now and three of the servers know what we drink—which scares me and makes me think I drink too much—and are always courteous, and check up regularly to make sure our glasses are filled.
Also, get in on the Mug Club. Just ask about it and they give you a free card, and it keeps track of how many visits you have made and how many pints you have had. After five visits you get to choose a pint glass with the logo of one of their signature ales on it. At one hundred twenty pints you get your name on a plaque on their half-barrel wall. Strangely it has worked as an incentive to drink more. Also, every time you order a beer while mentioning your mug club card you get a twenty ounce mug versus the usual pint, even during happy hour.
It’s always a feel-good atmosphere and while it can be busy, it never feels crowded. Also, because technically it’s a brewery as well as a restaurant, you can get a growler of any of their home brewed ales for ten bucks plus tax (A liter of strong delicious beer, but you can not drink it there—it’s for take home status only).
