I have found Robert Half to be useless in finding available employment. One of their staff members called me to appear at a job site in two hours! That is ridiculous. Like a lot of agencies these days, they don't truly listen to your concerns or requests. Very often I don't hear from them and have to call them myself to let them know I'm still available for work and that my requests have not changed. I can't believe that they are so busy with so many clients that they cannot touch base with a person. In addition, when I've asked them to think "outside the box", they don't. They only zero in on a person's past working experience. In this economy, one needs an agency that will go a mile for them, not expect the client to also do their homework and find employment on their own. If that's truly the case, then who wants to use an employment agency?
