Not my style by M A. at InsiderPages
We heard their commercials on the radio and television all the time, where they claim to be the largest engagement ring store around, so we decided to stop by.
First of all, the place is uncomfortably shiny and pristine - I don't know if this would turn anyone else off, but it was almost like I was walking into a computer simulation or some sort of artifical environment. This might be a plus to some, but it definitely felt formal and cold to me.
Second of all, as soon as we walked in, a salesman was on us immediately. Again, not my style, this is too much sales pressure for me - I like to browse a bit before talking to a salesman. Might be okay for other people.
Third of all, if you are not looking for the usual diamond-on-gold-or-platinum ring, then they really can't (and don't want to) help you much at all. We were looking for something without diamonds or gold - they took our names down and told us they would call us back, but never did.
The employees here were nice enough, but all of the above made for a negative experience.
PROS: If you like being handheld and are shopping for the usual, they are ok
CONS: High pressure, not much selection outside the normal types of rings
