As my name says, I adore a fur and Peta be derned.

That said, while I have spent some quality time at Ritz, I actually prefer Cowit Furs on West 29th. Yes, I can get fabulous customer service there, but also they are the best for used furs in NYC .

I didn't find that Ritz had the selection in furs that I was looking for..and their prices on new furs were higher than I am accustomed to paying.

Large selection, busy showroom, great prices on brand new coats, fabulous prices on vintage. They also have a nice selection of accessories - hats, mufflers, stoles, scarves, you name it. BUT, give yourself plenty of time, because they insist on encouraging you to buy yet another garment, even though you may have several of their coats and accessories.

Always something to tempt you and values can be fantastic... for the woman that craves more than one fur this is the place.

My friend told me but I didn't believe it until I made the time to visit. I left with a cute little mink jacket, a fox trimmed stole and a pair of red fur trimmed gloves. What fun!!!

Ritz furs is just as ritzy as its name sounds, however they would not want you to think that. They claim that their furs really arent all that expensive, however dont believe it for a second. Though they are absolutely stunning, if you are not willing to pay dont expect to find anything.
