went there for lunch on a friday, the atmosphere was too quiet for me, not very many people were there. had some appetizers w/
tomato slices that were cut too thin, and not so fresh basil or prosciutto. the service was very good. prices were good, the lunch special is a bargain.

We had Sunday Brunch there yesterday and it was wonderful. The building is absolutely stunning inside, elegant and subdued but not pretentious or over the top. You can see their state of the art kitchen at one end of the dining area. Amazingly, it is very quiet, even with people creating the great dishes. I started with the "Insalata Mista" -Fresh Mixed Field Greens with Light Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette. The salad was beautiful in presentation and very fresh. For my entree, I had the "Gamberi Santo Carlo" - Sauteed shrimp with mushrooms and scallions in a cognac cream sauce. It came with a side of spinach but at the suggestion of my waiter, I had it over pasta and it was delicious. They do not skimp on the shrimp and the dish was very flavorful. You have your choice of champagne, Mimosas or Bellinis for an additional five dollars and I went with the Bellini. It was the perfect complement to my meal and the waiter made sure my glass stayed filled. I have no complaints ...

Today is our 32nd anniversary and we decided to celebrate at one our favorite restaurants - Giuseppe's. The atmosphere and wonderful service set this restaurant apart from many in Shreveport. We have tried several items on the menu and all have been outstanding. The souffle for dessert is a must - a taste of heaven. We enjoy the open kitchen that allows one to observe meal preparation and presentation. We have recommended Giuseppe's to several friends who wanted excellent food in a warm and refined atmosphere. The 60 mile drive is well worth the trip!

My wife and I visited Giuseppe's this weekend and it was a FANTASTIC experience! We hadn't heard much about the restaurant and decided to give it a shot- we will certainly be back in the near future.

If I had to describe it in one word it would be "PERFECTION." From the moment we walked in the door through our last bite of dessert- the service, wine, bread, soup, entrees, and dessert- ah yes, the dessert- were all PERFECT!

I opted for the Lobster soup while my wife chose the French Onion. Both were great. I opted for a main course of Red Snapper and Shrimp and it was delicious. It was a shot in the dark but I ordered a dessert I had never heard of, some type of vanilla merengue with a thin layer of chocolate on top drizzled with raspberry sauce. WOW! It was reminiscent of a very light, fluffy cheesecake. Very unique, VERY tasty!

Giuseppe's. Run, don't walk. Oh yeah!

I recommend reservations and a nice shirt and khaki's or slacks. Wear the tie or leave it at home.
