A sheer delight. Highly recommended!
I decided it was time to go shopping for my wedding gown about two months after getting engaged, so I made sure to read about the shopping ?etiquette? before embarking on this journey. So I learned quickly that appointments are a must! That is just what I did with Bella Rosa. Although it was slightly short notice, I called on a Tuesday morning to see if I could request an appointment for the upcoming Saturday, in the morning. They were able to accommodate me. In the meantime, they asked for my email address and sent me a very helpful email about what to expect for my appointment. That was a very nice touch.

I had heard wonderful things about Bella Rosa, so I definitely wanted to go there, despite most of their gowns being out of my budget (which is $1,000). I arrived a little early and was greeted upon my entrance through the door and after getting my name, they told me it would just be a few moments because my sales consultant was just finishing up with another client. The atmosphere was wonderful. The shop was huge and elegant. My two friends and I sat on the sofas and browsed some of the books they had on the coffee table. Within minutes my consultant, Danielle, greets us. She sits with us and asks me about what I am looking for as far as my dress style. I show her some of the photos I had, and told her about my beach wedding. She asks my budget, and she doesn?t even bat an eyelash. I was worried my budget might be a little low for Bella Rosa, considering the fact that they carry some very nice (but pricy) designer labels.
After a few minutes of speaking with Danielle, we go to the back where all of the bridal gowns are. She shows me the different areas with the trunk show and sale items, then we make our way through the sea of beautiful gowns. She was very familiar with the gowns on the rack and that was very helpful in our search for finding gowns she knew I?d like. She also kept in mind my budget, which I appreciated. I ended up with 7 dresses to try on. I asked her if I could use a long-line bra and spanx and she grabbed both for me to use under the gowns. The dressing room was huge, and she stayed in there to help me get in and out of the dresses. She also asked me about my wedding and my fiancé, so I liked that she was so friendly and engaging. The back room with all of the wedding gowns was also huge, and even though there was another bride on the other side of the room, I almost never saw her. My friends were seated in comfortable chairs outside the dressing room, in front of the 3-way mirror and pedestal. So it was nice knowing that they were comfortable too. I ended up falling in love with a dress that I wanted to alter slightly (add spaghetti straps). She told me they have an alteration department at their shop and could accommodate what I needed. While I was standing there on the pedestal, admiring my dress, I braced myself for a moment while I asked Danielle the price and designer. It was $740. I was ecstatic! I still told her I wanted to ?sleep on it?, and probably come back with my mother to try it on another time, just to be sure that it?s ?the dress?. She was not at all displeased by this. While she was helping me in the dressing room, she also gave me tips as far as wedding dress shopping in general, including tips if I go to another bridal shop. And that felt very good, like she wasn?t just trying to make a sale and was genuinely trying to help me find my dream dress. I really appreciated that, and it makes me want to go back.
After that day, and going to other bridal shops, I still feel the best about the dress I tried on in Bella Rosa. Bella Rosa also stood out, with the most outstanding customer service compared to the other shops I visited in the area. I look forward to returning to try on that gown again when my mother comes into town.
