I moved to Independence from Colorado. I love this hometown grocery store. All the employees are very helpful and friendly. The store is always stocked nicely and the deli food is delicious. I would highly recommend this store to newcomers in town!!

I refuse to buy meat from this grocery store and only get produce whenever I don't have the time to go somewhere else. The meat is purchased at the lowest discounted price the store can find and frequently gives off an odor when cooked. The produce is often bruised or of poor quality. There are many times I cannot find what I am looking for, because it is not carried there. I am on WIC, and Richards Sun Fresh is out of what I am able to get often. I seem to leave this store frustrated over and over again.

The deli rocks my socks off. I'ts got awsome service and excellent options as far as food goes. What's better is the catering. they make the best food in town.
