BEWARE - FROM SALES TO SERVICE THEY'll RIP YOU OFF EVERYTIME
When I was shopping for a Toyota I went to this place and told the salesman what I was looking for. He didn't have what I wanted so he persistently tried to sell me something I had no interest in.

Many people I spoke with that owned the same vehicle I was looking for told me "DO NOT BUY FROM RENO TOYOTA. THEY'LL SCREW YOU OVER." So I bought in Carson City; where I was treated like a real person and not a number.

It's been a few years since I bought my Toyota and now it needs a few repairs. I took my car to this "rip-off" place and each time the small repair was well over $300. All of it mainly labor. (A rear latch handle was $500 and an antenna was over $300.) I couldn't take the car somewhere else because they already charged me over $100 just to tell me it was going to be a ridiculously expensive repair. I wonder if the new h-u-g-e structure next door (the owners are building) has something to do with the fleecing of their customers?

I wanted to share this with others who may be thinking of buying a car or taking their vehicle in for service/repairs to this company that majors in taking advantage of their customers. DON'T DO IT. You'll be so-o-o sorry. I will never go back to them again. For repairs find a good repairman in a private repair shop. It may take a while but it will save you tons of $$ in the long run and keep the money in the local Reno economy.

Lied & Cheated 50% Disabled Viet-Nam...‎
Reno Toyota lied to me about my trade in value of my car & the value of the 2004 Kia,Rio I purchased from them. They were made aware that I was a 50% Disabled Viet-Nam Veteran & took advantage of me. Reno Toyota told me I was getting top value for my trade in & I was getting an excellent deal on the 2004 Kia, Rio I bought They told me their computer was broken when I asked to check the Kelly Blue Book prices of these cars. Reno Toyota told me I was getting the Costco Price. What turned out is they made more than $10000 on this deal. They thieved me. The 2004 Kia Rio I bought from them needed thousands of dollars of repairs In my opinion they should be investigated & put out of business. If anyone wants to do a class action suit please contact me. Larry, LMRENO9@GMAIL.COM‎

Awful, poor sales dept., terrible service.‎
When I wanted to buy a new Toyota Corolla (5spd LE, a hard to find option), I called my hometown Reno Toyota dealership, and they told me they had the vehicle. I went to the dealership, and they had me walk all over the lot, showing me other vehicles before finally telling me they didn't have it, but could order it. So I went to Auburn and bought the car there instead (a wonderful experience, and they make it easy to transfer to Nevada). Having not learned my lesson, I went to Reno Toyota for my 15000 mile service, since the car was under warranty. They took 3x longer than they said they would, would not give me a ride anywhere, treated me terribly. A year later I called to ask for a record of the service so I could sell the vehicle, and they were AWFUL again. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, go to Carson City, Fallon, or Auburn instead.‎
