I just brought home my Gustav Stickley's rocking chair, which I had restored at Renaissance Furniture Restoration. This chair belongs to my family from late 1800s and it has incredible value both monetary and sentimental. Needless to say, that before I made my decision about where to bring my chair for restoration, I spent good deal of time searching for the best. For a couple of years I was asking my friends and co-workers about their experience with different restoration companies and still didn't feel confident enough to entrust such an important piece to anyone. The biggest problem was that most of restoration companies know how to do just one of the types of restoration, either repairs, or refinishing, or reupholstery.
