A bunch of bureaucratic phonies
Dealing with the people at Regional Center of Orange County (Santa Ana) is a bunch of phonies who think that they know what is best for the clients. Most of the people in that Regional (Including the people in the Outcomes Group, - D.M. and M.C. and A.G, you know who you are..) think they know what is right for the client because they went to school and has gotten a degree or they know from front to back the pages of Title 17. I know that there are few people in that Regional who has experience dealing, hands on, with consumers with developmental disabilities and I commend them. But the higher ups I believe are in it for the money (Why are all the other Regional Centers in California gets paid less then the RCOC for their consumers?) To all future business of care homes and day programs, please be aware of and PLEASE do your research before opening one in Orange County because it has been rumored that Regional Center of Orange County are prejudice and are about favoritism since they do not give fair opportunities to new perspective people, which is quite sad. To all parents and conservator, just be careful with these people. I have contacted my local congressmen about the problems and hopefully the state can correct these problems. If not, there is always the media.
