I was impressed with the quality of instruction and training RCI provided for the length of time required for this course. If you are seeking a phlebotomy training program that is of quality, and worth every penny, you'd be smart to enroll here.The 2 wknd course w/ 40 hrs of externship is worth it as long as YOU DO YOUR PART...because it is very thorough and fast paced. I advise that grads take advantage of the volunteer gigs that RCI offers, it helps a great deal on your resume and only helps you to gain the confidence and experience you will need to get your foot through the first door. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at RCI because within 6 months from receiving my certificate and volunteering through RCI, I started working as a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist at a hospital in Los Angeles=)‎

After being out of school for almost 8 years, I decided to go in the medical field. I've always wanted to learn about blood taking and obviously phlebotomy was the way to go. The class is very fast pace but informative and detailed. The tests taken everyday were helpful cause it showed you what points you needed to study in the most. EVERYONE, was soooo helpful and were always there to lend a hand or give you information on things you need to study!!! I LOVED all the people there!!! I recommend this is anyone who doesn't get freaked out with blood!!!! Hands down, RCI is the BEST phlebotomy school there is!!!!!!!!! class of april 2010!!!!‎

I switched career from the corporate world to a medical environment. I chose the path in Phlebotomy, it's fast and easy to learn and RCI will show you how. Personally, I have always been curious with people that can draw blood swiftly and RCI is the school for you. The class is very informative and you'll learn how to draw blood in six days! With the help of RCI staff, I am now working at a hospital in LA and working as an examiner part time. Drawing blood is a skill and fun to do! So go get certified at RCI!‎

This class was a VERY GOOD experience for me. The professor was very detailed, and the staff was ALWAYS helpful and nice. Not once did I feel uncomfortable to ask for help, and they helped me through the entire process! They helped me gain confidence in my method of venipuncture, and with their excellent instruction, I have gotten great compliments on being a great phlebotomist... I recommend this class to anyone interested in going into the medical field. Now, MY turn to do the grading... A+++!!!‎
