Don't go there unless you REALLY have to...
My parents are in pretty poor health, so whenever they have to go the emergency room they have to go to Redlands Community because the family doctor is there, and it's closest. But my parents would rather go to any other hospital if it were their choice.
The ER experience has always been slow. Whenever they had to be admitted, they'd have to sleep in the cold ER for a day or two just so they can find a room. It may not be situation that they control, but they should find a better solution for juggling rooms.
Most of the staff are uninformative, snooty, and preoccupied with other things. My mother has stayed a month there, and whenever she needed the nurse she has seen them turn off her light and ignore her. My mom knows the hospital pretty well, so whenever she needed something, she'd usually just do it herself if it was something she could manage.
Some nurses would ignore her, some would help. Some were rough handed, and some were gentle and understood that she was a human being. But I think she remembers the one thats that didn't care the most.
The floors are filthy and so noisy that she could never get any sleep.
Whenever my mom gets sick (and that's often) she cries because she knows she has to go to that hospital again. She knows how she'll be treated, she knows that she's about to go through hell, just so she can get better.
On a plus side, as I said before, some of the staff are helpful. They are still a hospital so they at least will help you when you need it. Just don't expect the best service while they do it.
