I have bought a pair of dress shoes and work boots at this store. A typical Red Wing outlet. What is nice is that I can buy made-in-the-USA footwear here.

The dress shoes are 9 years old and still looking good. The work boots have been re-soled once but are still in fine condition after 8 years of hard usage. Let's see those foreign things last as long!!

I suggest patronizing the store on a weekday. With only one employee it can take awhile for service if there's two or more customers ahead of you.

Prices are on the high side but you are paying for quality. Assuredly if you could calculate the cost-per-step Red Wing footwear would likely cost less per step than most of those foreign-made cheaper shoes and boots.
