Rebecca Ruth's specialty is bourbon chocolates and they do it extremely well. I'm not a bourbon fan but combine it with chocolate and sugar and the result is terrific. They also make a number of other terrific filled chocolates and other candies. The shops also have other gifts both Kentucky related and things geared towards children. I've never taken the tour but my parents did when they visited. They found it very interesting. Ever since, one of my mom's favorite gifts is their chocolates. The prices are kind of high but probably no more so than similar businesses. They have just opened a new retail location on Broadway in historic downtown Frankfort.

If you like candy, this is the place for you: I stumbled upon Rebecca-Ruth's quite by accident while visiting Lexington, KY and I have been dying to get back there every since. They make absolutely the best Bourbon Chocolates that I have ever tasted. I really don't care for bourbon, but oh my!
