I go to Rawhide at least twice a year. The counselors and owners are the most fun people to be around and I learn so much more about riding every time I go. It is NOT a canine training camp - that is completely false information. They still have animal science and horse science daily as well as riding lessons and vaulting classes. I've learned so much about animals there and have truly grown attached to the camp. Unfortunately, this last summer I aged out. But hopefully I will be returning there next year as a leader in training. I love Rawhide and its amazing classes and activities. I always look forward to going there.

I spent my childhood over at Rawhide Ranch, when it was still a 'ranch' for people to learn about farm animals.
It is no longer this type of ranch.
It has been taken over by a canine training camp - which I hear is very good.
