Perfect Hearing Now!
I begin to have difficulty hearing about four years ago when I had to turn my television up several notches in order to be able to understand what was being said. When I finally decided to be tested for a hearing aid I went to my audiologist, (Dr. Woodruff in my home town of Rancho Santa Fe) and was fitted for one that fit in my ear and was just slightly visible. This hearing aid was just fine for another two years. However, I gradually found that I was again missing words and having to ask friends and family to repeat not only words, but whole sentences! I was again fitted by Dr. Woodruff for a similar hearing aid…a more advanced one this time…but still one that had to be removed every night before going to bed. I am a Rotarian, and at our regular Monday meetings (two years later) I realized once againI could not hear anything said by anyone in the back of the room.
