Delicous Bakery [highly recommend]
I Visit my daughter with her husband and her 6 year old son every year in NC. She told me that this placed called "Balcazar Bakery" was wonderful. It gave the tasty home-made food. The pastry Chef Jaime greeted me as if i known him for years. He told me to try his number one selling cake "tres leches". It was really good. His Wife Yasmith also is a very sweet lady that has introduced me to new delicous food i've never expirenced. They gave us a free map and a bakery bag that i still have at home. Their yougest son is a very talkitive boy, he came out with his soccer ball & asked my daughter's son, if he wanted to play. We were all entertained by them & the food they serve.
I bought lots of food to take back home. Everyone enjoyed it as much as i did. I can't wait to go back next year.

As an owner of Balcazar Bakery, responding to your inconvenience, I apologize for your past visit feeling discriminated. Personally, we don??????t prefer any specific Nationality whether its from Americans to the Africans, Asians, Europeans or whether the customers are Latinos.
Before I opened my own business, I worked for numerous of years as a Pastry Chef at Prestonwood Country Club ,which is also known as the prestigious golf club in Cary, NC and the current owner Mr. James(Jim) Goodnight (know as the founder of SAS??????????CEO).
Speaking as a thirty-six years of experience Colombian pastry chef, containing visible certificates held on one of the store??????s walls, I serve and offer different variety of pastries and bread from different types of countries around the world with high-quality ingredients, much like our specialty of Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, Mocha, home-made Cheesecake, the traditional Pound Cake and the mouth-watering banana bread pudding. On top of that, our number-one selling specialty French bread and three milk cake (tres leches/ tex-mex).
Also, many people have had great experience at my bakery such as the writers of ??????News & Observer ??????,??????Independence??????, ??????La Conexion?????? and ??????Que Pasa??????. In which they all have in common, the talk about the high quality food and service, in which we only prepare in small amounts to offer fresh bakery products through out the day, we supply our customers with and who wish us the best from what the future has for my business.

Shame on these people...!!! by Pedro A. at InsiderPages
I've been living in the States for about two years and a half. When my wife and I got here we decided to find a typical Colombian restaurant or food place where we could enjoy our famous bu????uelos, empanadas, pasteles or even buy some products that we certainly miss here such as Chocolisto, Sello Rojo Coffee, among others. Well, the first two times we went to this bakery we got a fair attention as the owner was not such a warm guy as we expected. Anyway, we bought some food and enjoyed it. But yesterday (12/26/07) we stopped by at Burlington Coat Factory and decided to visit this bakery again. I couldn't believe this lady was a colombian. She treated us like nothing. I asked her a few questions about the freshness of the bu????uelos and her answers were just like: whatever you see on display is what we have, and that's it! Later on another costumer walked in and she treated this guy on a different way (this guy was mexican). So my advise for people willing to visit this so called colombian bakery: Don't do it. Food is low quality and people in charge have no idea of how to treat people from their own country... Shame on them.
