Very Dishonest
Gave me an estimate. I gave them $562.00 deposit and they did absolutely no work and would not refund the money.

High Expectations, No Delivery
My experience with this company has been the most dismal of any company I have dealt with for work around any home I have ever owned. The original bid was provided on 8/21/07. I met with Raintite on the 27th and refined the plan, and despite the aggravating nature of the man I met with ? his response to my questions went something like ?ask your husband to explain it to you? ? I needed gutter work done and he seemed to know his business so I gritted my teeth, committed to the proposal, and paid him 1/3 of the total amount. In response, he gave me a "sure" date of 9/17 for the work to be performed. It?s important also to note that I told him that other work was planned for my backyard and I wanted the gutters up before the arbor went up.

Over the next 6 weeks, they continually failed to show up on the promised dates, often not even calling to reset the date. My calls to Raintite were unfruitful, often resulting only in a promise to have someone call me back. Dates of 9/21, 10/3, and 10/8 were all promised and were all missed for a variety of reasons. It?s important to note that weather could not have been a factor in any of the misses ? despite the rain we?ve had this year, the past couple months have been warm and sunny for the most part. No offer of consideration for any of this has been made by Raintite ? just one empty promise after another. On 10/8, my patience finally ran out and I requested my deposit back. To their credit, they did refund my deposit, but I did have to ask them to recut the check since they completely misspelled my first name on the check.

I think I?ll leave my emotions out of this and simply say, based upon my experience, I would never go back to Raintite, and would advise anyone to avoid doing business with them if other options are available.
