I feel welcome every time I step into the store. Miguel and Antonio really know their stuff when it comes to fresh of marine applications. The prices are fair and they will price match if you find it for less locally. They have been in business for many years, and I can see why. 5 STARS!!! I have been going to Rainbow Pet Shop for the past 12 years. Started with a fresh water tank and soon after jumped into the saltwater game. Thanks RAINBOW PET SHOP.‎

I used these guys to replace my scratched/beaten-up 280g tank with a new Starphire setup. It was a pretty big job involving removing my old setup, keeping all the livestock (including corals) alive, bringing in the new tank and plumbing it all together. They did everything as promised and kept everything on schedule; they truly exceeded my expectations. I was really impressed and thankful that they took the time and effort to re-do my setup in a much better way with much much better flow. They take pride in what they do and their work shows it. Even though they did more work than what was originally agreed to for the job they didn't nickel and dime me to death. VERY VERY FAIR AND TOP NOTCH ALL AROUND.‎

My review is strictly about their Aquarium section. They've got a decent variety of birds if you're looking for those. Their fish selection is amazing and boy are they busy. I've been to 26 Fish stores in the L.A. area and saw some FW fish here that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Biggest selection of mature corydoras and plecos I've seen and a really good selection of other community fish also. Also have a couple of large cichlid tanks. Plant selection was pretty small, though. As far as SW, they have a really good coral selection and a decent fish selection. Prices are OK.‎

Rainbow is top notch, as a fish newbie I wasn't quite sure what to purchase. The staff was very knowledgeable and patient with me, answered all my questions. Highly recommended!‎

The fish selection is great - fresh or salt. The tanks are clean and fish look happy. Great selection on decorations, supplies, food, medication. Even towards closing time I stop by and let them know i already know what i want and it will be quick. They are more than happy to accept my business. Highly recommended. knowledgeable staff as well.‎
