I called this company for a ride to SJC. Since this company operates in SJ, and I live relatively near SJC, taxis usually arrive within about 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I called them back and was told the driver would arrive in 2-3 minutes. Another 5 minutes pass and I called them again, and they said the driver was at the nearest light. Another 5 minutes pass, and this time they said the driver was right around the corner. Yet another 5 minutes pass, and the dispatcher on the other hand saids "you've got to be kidding me." I could hear her saying to the driver, "don't you think the quickest thing to do if you're lost is to radio in for their number so you can call and get directions ?" And finally, a few minutes after that, the taxi shows up. This sequence of delays resulted in me missing my flight. I can't completely blame them, since I didn't really give myself much of a buffer. But I'm certain that if I had arrived at the airport 20 minutes earlier, I would have been on the flight. I had no issues with the politeness of the driver or the dispatcher, but if need prompt service, this isn't the company to call.

Almost Hijacked by Yellow Taxi!

I called Rainbow Taxi this morning for a trip to SJC. About two minutes before he showed up a Yellow Taxi came by. Being a residential area, it's not a street taxi's normally cruise so I'm sure he was listening to Rainbow's channel and thought he'd scam the fare... I asked if he was with Rainbow and he just muttered, then I saw the Rainbow Taxi coming from the other direction. The Yellow Cab moved and that was the last I saw of him. The Rainbow driver was right on time and was very pleasant to talk with on the way to the airport and recommend them highly.

Fast, friendly: always on time and courteous. The best cab co in san jose.

All taxi cab company charge almost the same rate. However, I prefer this company, as their drivers are more couterous compare with drivers from other company.
