I love the Bow...feels like home partying eiyh a bunch of cool friends..unpretentious, oldschool rockers, guys in suits,dudes with mohawks can all mingle together n listen to cool music n eat yummy food...you may even see rockstars eating here...the doors, motley crue, guns n roses, van halen all Hung here in the 80s..upstairs has rocking dj..the restaurant part has old leathet horseshoe booths , a fireplace and bigscreen tv on if theres a game...pizza n chicken soup are everyones favorites..waitresses are foxy..come here for fun and no attitude look at the rocking part of l.a.

I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years and I haven't been let down yet. In fact, I'm usually quite impressed. The prices are incredible compared to other LA nightspots, especially considering the sizable portions they provide. The atmosphere is rock n roll to the core and its not uncommon for those into "star watching" to come across several on any given night.

Whether you're from the area or in from out of town, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Rainbow Bar and Grill to anybody.

You can't go wrong with this bar. Best door men and the strongest drinks. And don't forget that they play the only music that counts, METAL!

Love this place!!

The Rainbow has long been my favorite bar in the LA area. Rock n' Roll lives and breathes here, and many legends from it's pages visit nightly. The food is awesome too, without a doubt the best pizza this side of New York. If you want a real treat, order up a pineapple, jalapeno pizza . . . it's to die for. I overheard a waitress order one there a few years ago and decided to give it a go myself, I have been a changed man ever since. Oh and did I mention they have the strongest drinks in town?

I noticed a couple of commenters complaining about service and wait time . . . The Rainbow is not a place you go to before a movie to grab a quick bite, it's a place to immerse yourself in the atmosphere, from which to wander the strip, catch a show if you like, and then return to to close out the night. I've personally NEVER had a problem, but then again I've never been in too much of a hurry to leave.
