Firstly, I have to agree that Dr. Kornreich doesnt seem to take the same personal attention as in years past. I am a long time patient.
But I think what is most annoying is is is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. I actually called today and was put on hold 3 times, then the phone just hung up on me.

It is really a shame. Karen Kornreich used to be a great doctor but has changed for the worse. She used to be professional, likeable and approachable. Now she's become bored, snippy and rude. Like she hates being a doctor anymore. She seems to be going through the motions and failed to diagnose a medical problem requiring surgery when I mentioned some unusual symptoms to her. She dismissed it and didn't do anything. I found out about it at another office during an ultrasound. This doctor said when a patient complains of those symptoms, she immediately does an ultrasound. Kornreich doesn't take insurance, so you have to pay in full and up front, and service is supposed to be better.

Dr Banooni has been my Dr. for a couple of years now and is always very attentive and I always have a great experience seeing this doctor. I would recommend him to others, anytime!

This is in response to the 2 reviews entitled Wholly disappointing and the worst way to start our family and BEWARE. I am Dr. Banooni and I am writing this response with the permission of insiderpages.com. I try my hardest to provide the best medical care to my patient in a comfortable, friendly environment.

I believe that both these reviews were written by the same patient since obviously she was very angry about her encounter with my office. She has also sent these same complaints to my office and we have attempted to resolve the situation.
As well as office gynecology, my practice involves obstetrics. There are times when I am held up at the hospital doing a delivery and this may delay the patients in the office. My office staff is trained to inform all waiting patients that they may reschedule their appointments or wait for me. We never collect copay upfront, therefore if a patient is not seen, they will not be charged. There are human errors that are sometimes made but can be corrected. This reviewer was billed accidentally for a procedure another patient had that day. When we learned of this mistake, we immediately informed the insurance company and the check was returned. The reviewer was also informed of this and copies of the cancelled check were mailed to her as well.
My goal is that every patient that enters my practice, leaves here satisfied that they received great medical.

We met Dr. Banooni through a friend whom he had cared for during the delivery of their first child. From the moment we met him, he was very attentive and answered all of our questions. I was surprised how in a short period of time I felt comfortable with him. Through the nine months he cared for me during my pregnancy, I felt comfortable and confident I was in good hands. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He was responsive to all my concerns and responded to my phone calls right a way. He is truly one of the most caring and kindest doctors I have met . With his calm demeanor he always puts me at ease. His bedside manner is amazing. I would recommend him without any reservation.
