Up to it again!
Just saw an email asking me to come to a meeting to improve marketing my career. Bottom line. After checking around with some other actors I'm told it's all about a an internet Multi Level Marketing program which, surprise surprise, Jim Richer and an RPM agent, Stephanie, get a piece of. So every actor who signs up for this program is putting money directly into the pockets of those two. RPM is also trying to sell the program to the parents of younger actors. Is this something SAG should be made aware of?

Aviod RPM--its a waste of time by Rachel S. at InsiderPages
I was supposedly signed with RPM, and took head shots with the in-house photographer Jim Richer who turned out to be the husband of Tiffany, the woman who owns RPM. They are extremely unprofessional, and the class I took was with the photographer Jim who also claimed to be an acting coach because he had been in 1 German commercial and 1 Mexican soap opera was highly inappropriate and useless. 9 months later, I still have not been sent on a single audition. avoid them at all cost.

News to me by Jacque P. at InsiderPages
I have a couple of clients at RPM and they have not been asked to buy photos or attend workshops.
Several big time casting directors game me EXCELLENT feedback on this agency so these comments I find a little shocking. If I hear from my clients that they are being asked to get new headshots from the inhouse photographer or take workshops there - I will contact the appropriate people.

Scam by Rosalyn G. at InsiderPages
I agree I was with them for a years & not 1 audition BUT they sure want you to pay them money for casting workshops and new photos with their in house photog who is the owners husband.
They also have some MLM product they try to involve you in.
Complete Scam.

Pay to Play
I was represented by them for about a year. They did submit me. I went on auditions. I even booked something that I didn't audition for. However they would like to SELL you as much service as possible. Recommending everything from website design and acting classes to teeth whitening.- all provided by companies virtually, though not technically in their office. They will recommend new headshots from their own "unaffiliated" photographer as well. The last straw for me were the text messages telling me that CSI had posted a breakdown for actors of my type and coincidentally the casting director was seeing actors this week at an unaffiliated actors showcase for just $35- a great opportunity! This "opportunity" occurred every week with a different show. They do some work but, they work harder for themselves. Not a completely scammy organization. They do submit you. They accept union and non-union talent, so beginners might go there just to learn what's right and wrong with the business. Just keep a hand on your wallet.
