All I can say is don't work there. It feels very draconion. Employees are on a time clock (a punch-in system). When you are hired, they do not hire direct, they usually hire through a staffing agency (Butler), which is odd. They tell you in the hiring process that they have double the employees that they actually have because they count employee's spouses and children as a part of the Quest family. You soon find out this is not true. You only get 2 sick days a year - and those are accrued. Hopefully you or your child don't become ill, because the first sick day is fully accrued by June 30th! So much for being "family-oriented". It was common that new hires would come in, leave for lunch and never come back. When I gave my two weeks notice, it was taken as a personal affront, and I was let go immediately, no pay. Lesson: do not give notice. You will have to sign a non-compete, which is silly and unenforceable in CA. But they will still attempt to sue anyways ...
