I live in San Francisco and could have gone to any one a the Lexus dealerships in the bay area, but I bought an LS 460 L from Dan Vlardi at Putnam Lexus in Redwood City because he was straight forward and followed though on everything he promised. Very professional. I could have spent less I'm sure, as many people try to. Its worth it to me to having a good relationship with the dealership where I plan to have the car serviced for the next several years. Thanks Dan. TAH

Go to the Lexus service center in Santa Clara if you can, their center is beautiful, and they do not charge as much as Putnum for most services. Santa Clara is a quite a bit more busy so you'll need an apointment a couple of days in advance but that is understandable.

Bought my car in 2003 & have never washed my car, I always bring it to the dealership & with no questions asked they wash it! I usually go in the afternoon when it's not so busy. Went in one time to get my service light checked out & the service tech was able to tell me what was wrong right away! awesome customer service.

Used to be quite good, and it's been THE dealer for me since 2000. But that's history. Now it's only good at charing $55 for oil change (a $15 value), plus a free donut/coffee/water package (a $5 value).
I went there for an intermittent warning light they first offered a minor service, checking fluids, tires and brakes. After I pointed out it woudn't solve the issue, I was asked to pay $150 to figure out. That's fine. But then I found that the loaner I scheduled yesterday was an Avalon from Hertz rental. After another half hour I was told that they overbooked the loaners and everybody has priority over me. I was way behind schedule and had to leave with nothing done to my car...Today is 12/29/2006, a Friday. I didn't see free donuts. But it doesn't matter much to me - How many dounts can bring me back to Putnam Lexus?

Great dealership. I bought my car here and have been very happy. I like the service center they are very customer service oriented. I have had my kids with me several times when I have been in there and they are super nice to the kids. I guess you get waht you pay for!
