I have purchased from The Puppy Place! by Cha N. at InsiderPages
I have been a visitor to The Puppy Place for many years. I finally fell in love with a toy poodle and bought him.. He has been such a joy to our family and I continue to go there (just to see). I would purchase again from them if we ever were to expand our family, and I admire their business practices, as they never dismiss a puppy that doesn't sell quickly. They are up front and honest about their policies and prices. I recommend them highly.

Cute dogs, but are they healthy? by Blondie S. at InsiderPages
My niece bought a dog here and it acquired parvo a few days later. They spent huge amounts at the vet to try to save the puppy, and it unfortunately died.

Milo my late boxer by Jill H. at InsiderPages
I purchased a boxer from the Puppy Place in about April 2007. I fell in love instantly. We took him into the vet the day after we got him as instructed. Exactly one week later we took him into the vet again because he had not eaten the day before and did not seem right. To my surprise he had parvo. From what I was told and read parvo usually shows up about a week and a half after the dog is infected. I can not say for sure that my puppy got parvo while at the puppy place but I don??????t see how he could have gotten it at my house where no dog with parvo has ever been. As they said they paid the $300.00 for treatment that cost us $1,500.00. I personally wouldn??????t buy from their again but I do agree that the puppys are adorable and can understand the draw to the place. I have also heard from two other people that their puppy had parvo right after coming home. Use your best judgement.

Our little Sophie
I have to agree with one of the reviewers who pointed out that the people who complained about The Puppy Place did not purchase an animal there. I'm basically anti-pet store. I'm from California which outlawed selling pets through pet stores completely. I took a chance with The Puppy Place. Yes, the kitties have a small space, but they do in most county run rescue shelters too. The puppies have adequate space. It's not like they're going to grow up there. Sophie, our toy poddle from The Puppy Place, is a healthy, happy, bouncing, wrestle-with-the-cat bundle of joy. She receives good vet care through us. Now, there are pet stores I wouldn't purchase from, but that's another story...
