after being admitted through the emergency room, i was diagnosed with "torticollis," which simply means "twisted neck." i didn't need to be told i had a twisted neck. it was obvious by the fact that i couldn't hold my head still, nor turn my head in any direction without neck pain. i was prescribed ibuprofen, vicodin, and flexeril. after finishing my vicodin prescription, the torticollis was clearly still existent. i feel cheated by providence medical center. in my experience, they treat only the symptoms, not the source. this round, i aim to try acupuncture, instead.
