I have never felt so comfortable talking to someone in the healthcare industry - and I've WORKED in the healthcare industry! The first time I met her, I had all my records from a previous physician faxed over for her to review. When I arrived, she handed me my own copy of the records and then went through everything line-by-line, explaining it and discussing what it all meant. I didn't even have to ask! I was calling all over town trying to find the best prices for an HIV test with same day results. I could not get a real person on the phone until I called Progressive Health Services. Suzann, who is the nurse practitioner and acupuncturist, answered the phone and answered all of my questions. She set up an appointment for me to be tested for HIV with a 15 minute result that very same day. What a delight (and relief) it was to find this great little house of health on the corner of El Cajon Blvd. and Mississippi. I have been helped by Dr.Suzanne Gage of Progressive Health Service to keep me walking. I have had both knees replaced by surgery and she has given me acupunture to relieve painful leg motion and improve leg circulation. Dr.Gage has also improved my diet by adding a Vitamin C and a helpful non-habit medicine to calm my body so I can get a good nights sleep.
