Love Prianti!

Don't know where to start really! I browse more than I shop but I always find something to take and add to my household inside or out. I've been a fan of Prianti as long as I've been gardening (20+ yrs) even though they were smaller then. Just bought a lovely Christmas tree & burned their firewood Christmas morning, and I'm still looking forward to the planting season when this place really shines. My green thumbs are up!

PRIANTI FARMS FIREWOOD AND MORE!

I first heard of Prianti from a neighbor who had been buying firewood from their old location. Just as he said, the firewood burns easily and free kindling with delivery made it even easier. Other places have sold me wood that wasn't seasoned and also not in quantity anywhere close to what a "cord" of wood is supposed to be, but Prianti is seasoned and true to measurements. On location they sell smaller amounts for pick up, and the last time I did so the owner himself loaded my car and gave me tips about the wood and my garden! Have been going back every winter for 10 yrs, and now go other seasons to marvel at the new varieties of perennials and annuals they add to their selection. Also bring neices and nephews to see the bunnies and chickens they have! Parking is limited in peak season only because of the popularity of this place. Always satisfied by the staff's assistance, colorful plants, and quality firewood.

Horrible Firewood - Buyer Beware!

The firewood is horrible, burns poorly, smolders excessively, hard to light, doesn't sustain flaming, leads to excessive creosote buildup in chimney. You will be sorely disappointed if you buy this firewood, as I was, especially if you are burning in a wood stove or are burning for heat as opposed to ambience. I seriously have never been so disappointed or frustrated. I've gone through a 1/4 of a cord and will not burn any more as I am afraid of what it's doing to my chimney. Whatever you do, do NOT buy your firewood from Prianti. A word to the wise: you will be disappointed and frustrated with this wood not to mention putting yourself at risk for a chimney fire due to creosote buildup. Buyer beware. Yes, they were expensive, but I was more than willing to pay the premium price because I thought that meant a superior product (you get what you pay for.) Boy oh boy was I ever WRONG. Let my misfortune stand as fair warning to any considering purchasing their wood. Seriously, look elsewhere for seasoned firewood.
