They made it right!
Thank you, thank you, to Bethany, the owner of Posh salon. She gave a multitude of apologies for not getting back to me; that she had not received any messages from me. She had spoken with Arthur, the stylist, and thought he had taken care of my refund. The situation was just one misunderstanding after another.
After seeing my review on Yelp, she called right away to explain what had happened on her end and to offer to make it right. She offered me a full refund of my first haircut or a haircut with her at her next available appointment. I happily accepted the cut from her! She did a WONDERFUL job fixing my hair!
Thank you Bethany and Posh Salon. I will most definately continue to go to this salon and to encourage others too as well.

I am so sad to post this review but I really gave Posh a chance... I've been going to the salon for about three years and have seen Arthur for 2 cuts before this last one. He's always done a great job and I've given him and the salon multiple referrals - a great cut is like a walking billboard!
This last appointment was terrible from the start - Arthur kept looking at his watch and leaving to answer his cell phone. After he rushed through the "cut" I said that it wasn't what we talked about, that I wanted more layers. He said he didn't have time to fix it then and to make a follow-up as I was practically shoved out the door. When I came in for the corrective cut I was treated terribly by him, it was as if I was being manipulated into thinking the cut was my fault. What's more he tried to charge me for a second cut. In addition to being made to feel like I was to blame, with an almost vengeful attitude he gave me the layers I "asked for" and left me with terribly hacked and uneven layers. Objectively a bad cut.
After being treated so insultingly I felt too awkward to confront Arthur again for fear of what he would do next to my hair so I called to talk to the owner, Bethany. She too was un-empathetic and rude when I requested a refund. To close our call she said she would get back to me shortly once she spoke to Arthur. That was 3 weeks ago and I have followed-up numerous times.
Again, I hate that this negative experience happened, but as a loyal customer I gave them every opportunity to make it right. A poor cut can happen, but Bethany had the opportunity to show professionalism and pride in her business to keep me as a client. Instead, my references have become negative word-of-mouth and I will never go back.
