Popular Cleaners has moved from SE Powell Blvd and SE 172nd Ave to 3203 NE Sandy Blvd. (Laurelhurst neighborhood ). I was a customer at former location since late 2007...prices are cheap, dry cleaning quality is fair/good, service slow. Dropped-off clothing at former store on 04/10/09 (mens trousers and two wool sweaters, Popular Cleaners ticket #7155); attempted to pick-up on 04/24/09. Sign on door at SE 172nd and Powell Blvd states business has moved. Owner does not answer phone at new location. Attempted to pick-up clothes as new location...unsuccessful! The new location (3203 NE Sandy) is more disorganized and disheveled than former location at 172nd Ave and Powell. Owner could not find clothes; I helped owner look for my clothes (behind the counter) for 30 minutes...no luck. During 30 minutes in store, another customer from former location came to pick-up clothes...same scenario. Clothes lost---another customer looking for lost clothes behind counter for 15-20 minutes. If you dropped-off your clothing at SE 172nd and Powell, and cannot recover clothes from Popular Cleaners, please add a review.
