Overall great place to find hard to get records,CD's. You migt have to special order but staff is friendly and will help if you have questions.The place is way chill and its cool to hang out!

The store has a 30 year history in Pasadena. It was our family business and now they are alive and kicking in East Pasadena. Talk about pedestrian friendly. Grab an amp from Guitar Center, go to the live In Store at the bahs, have a drink and shoot some pool at the Colorado bar and have breakfast at Denny's; all within the same block on the 2600 block of east Colorado Blvd. The store has lots of magazine, DVDs, vinyl, tapes and personality. The walls still have all the funk memorabilia and the store sorta looks like the original location on Fair Oaks, before Parsons was built. Still shopping there, love it.

Poo Bah has an excellent selection of hard to find and not so hard to find vinyl at great prices. Plus they have a large section of under a dollar records which has a surprising amount of good finds. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful but a little on the odd side at times, but don't let that put you off.

This music shop has been around for as long as I have. They have all the rare music that is hard to find for purchase other places, they can help place special orders, and their prices are reasonable!

Ecclectic shop thats been in Pasadena for years. Hard to find music can be found here and the employees are weird and helpful. I think if its not here, they can get it for you. They have moved to Colorado Blvd west of San Gabriel Blvd, on the southside of the street.
