TERRIBLE LABOR & DELIVERY DEPARTMENT...
My cousin was due so I went to go visit her. Upon entering the Labor department along with my wife, mother, little sister (13 years old), aunt (cousins mother), and two other cousins (cousins brothers, one was a minor of 7 years old), a very rude nurse shouted at us by advising "Only two at a time!". What if you have a big family? It's not fair to have a big family waiting outside the waiting room, when they can be inside with you to give you company and take your mind off the pain and anxiety. I know of hospitals (like Memorial West Hospital Pembroke Pines, Florida) that do not limit the amount of people in a room. The nurse also advised no minors allowed unless they are children of mother going through labor. How about her little cousins? Her nephews? Nope. They do not care, why? I'll tell you why... In the Labor room where my cousin was in, there was a plaque on the wall that says something like the following: "Comments, Complaints, Suggestions? Call Extension ...
