Sweet Pizza Place!
Plank's reputation as a fixture in German Village is well-deserved. While Plank's is a great place to go to eat, I've mostly ordered pizza delivery. The tomato sauce in their pizza has a subtle sweetness that makes their pie special. Try Plank's---you'll enjoy your meal!

Fresh ingredients, great meats and a sweet crust/sauce(I don't know which it is that's sweet). Their pizza is the best in Downtown Columbus. If you're a buckeye fan, you have to go atleast once. You'll most likely go back too. I try to pick one up atleast once a month and it's a 20-30 min drive for me to get it. Well worth it though. The sweetness of the crust/sauce combined with the spiciness of their pepperoni and sausage is awesome. If you're looking for a place to get some pizza while you're down there for a game or event, make it a stop.

I just wanted to share with everyone that we had the worst service at Planks this past Saturday. We had company in from out of town and my husband and I had been bragging about what a wonderful restaurant Planks was. So the 5 of us went. Two and a half hours to get 2 pizzas and a sub. The waitress was horrible. She gave our food to someone else. Told us but never did apologize for it. She said she would pay our bill. Then brought us two checks, charging my sister$15.95 for an Italian sub. They made the correction on the prize but only took one pizza off the bill. They were busy but not sold out. I was very disappointed in my visit. Not sure we will be back:(

I really like Planks Cafe and Pizzeria. They have a sweet thin crust and their sausage is to die for. I have heard that they make the sausage themselves and that is why it is so good. Definitely recommend this place for pizza and subs.
