Was looking for a new training facility, checked out this place and was pleased to find the exact opposite of the big box gym. People are friendly and chill, prices are obviously great. overall very unlike other guy across the river, where I found nothing but attitudes and high prices.

I was a long time PF customer, and it was a fantastic experience. Now, if you are looking for a lot of extras, like juice bars, instructed classes or pools, you may be disappointed. But for a clean, varied and well-stocked supply of gym equipment it can't be beat. Most of the staff is nice when you talk to them, but they do seem to keep to themselves. For me, I prefer that. I just want to work out in peace. Also, the hours are great, too. Work 2nd or 3rd shift? You can still find time to go, as they are open 24 hours during the week. The locker rooms are large and clean, with plenty of lockers and showers.

I subtracted a star only for two gripes: Sometimes, the exercise machines would break down and it would take a long time for them to be repaired. On quiet days, this wasn't a problem, but during busy times it meant longer waits. The second gripe is with the TVs. They have about 12 set up, and you can't change their channels, which is fine except that on 8 of the 12, only sports or dry news shows play. I just wish they had had more variety in what to watch while you work out.

But that's it, really. All in all, PF is great. Highly recommended.
