From Servati Graphics, to Pinky's Printing, to the current operation DW Printworks, 1035 Silverado Street in La Jolla has been a hotbed of printing for over 20 years. The current owner, Derrick Williams, brings over 15 years of graphic design experience to the area and he has been in charge of this offset and digital print shop since November 2010. "Generally when people say, 'Hey can you do this', I'll find a way to do it." Even from my experience in the store I saw Derrick working with costumers to figure out what they wanted, as strange and random some of the requests were, and then making it happen. Pinky's Printing has been around for years in the heart of La Jolla. They are a little more expensive than other large commercial printers, but they are helpful and friendly, and will work with you if you have a limited budget for your school or other non-profit group. The quality of their work is quite good, and they will fix anything you say is not quite right. Parking can be tough sometimes, but usually you can find parking within a block. Give them a try!
