Great Service Great Staff by V S. at InsiderPages
I had just moved into the area with my two dogs and needed a vet to go to. I was referred to Pines West Animal Hospital by my neighbor and I could not have been more pleased with the care that I received there. My one dog suffers from diabetes and I was surprised to find out that I was giving the wrong dose of insulin to my pet. The problem was corrected and my dog is doing fantastic! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the hours are great. This is a wonderful place to go. Thanks to Dr. Berg, Dr. Meacham and their staff.

Inconsiderate and Rude by Kenneth G. at InsiderPages
We have been customers of Pines West Animal Hospital for over 14 years. After returning home from work on a Saturday morning, I noticed that my Sheltie, who is fourteen years old could not stand on his hind legs. The dog had suffered a stroke over a year ago and as a result was blind. However he was able to go outside to do his business. When the hospital opened at 7 AM, we brought the dog in only to be told that there was no Vet. on duty and that we should have brought the dog to the emergency animal hospital in Cooper City. In fact we were told that no Vets. would be in for approximately one-half hour and that we should take our dog to this clinic. As the driving time was about the same, we decided to wait.

As stated, our Sheltie has been a member of the family for 14 years old. Our seventeen year old son had grown up with Champ. The attitude and lack of caring on the part of the counter staff was shocking, When I advised her that our dog could not stand, her attitude became even more flippant and she actually engaged i n a shouting match with me. She refused to call a Vet. to advise that we were waiting. In fact, she refused to show any compassion toward us having to deal with the possible loss of a member of the family. If this is indicative of the people that are working in this Animal Hospital, then I will be taking my future business elsewhere.

A great place to trust..
I have 2 little shitzu's and they are my baby's Dr. Berg understands how important they are, you can tell he is a veterinarian because he genuinely loves animals, he is upfront, and extremely sweet with my little guys. I drive from Miami Beach to Pembroke, because I rather take them with Berg than any other vet. I highly recommend Dr. Berg at Pines West animal Hospital...

Great care for your pet by Tamee R. at InsiderPages
Pines West Animal hospital in very convienantly located in the Winn Dixie Plaza so there is ample parking. You can get an appointment fairly quick. The vet really spends time with your pet, talks to him, cuddles him and treats the pet as if it were on of their own. Exams are very thourough. You can also purchase food here as well.
