I recently stumbled upon this place and really like it. Its kind of a 'hole in the wall' but their food is very tasty. I like their Pan Fried noodles and spring roll-like wraps that you wrap yourself. Their customer service could be better (I've asked for napkins, extra jalapenos and don't receive it) but I kind of understand because every time I've been there, its been a full house.

Pho King is a very straight-forward Asian noodle restaurant, located on the 4600 block of El Cajon Blvd. The decor is unpretentious and appealing. Pho is a traditional rice noodle soup from Vietnam, usually served with thin slices of meat and vegetables. I ordered their deluxe Pho King combo, which had an assortment of beef cuts, with fresh basil, bean sprouts and a wedge of lime on the side. I would describe that dish as Comfort food with a capital "C". On a cold day this would hit the spot. The bowl was generous and served steaming hot. The soup was hearty and I left there stuffed.
Besides the soup, the menu does offer a wide range of other Vietnamese dishes, from spring roll appetizers, to fried rice to all sorts of other noodles, both hot and cold styles. They also offer a big selection of exotic fountain drinks. The prices are quite reasonable.
If you're in the mood for Asian noodle soup, and a quick, easy, budget-friendly meal, I would recommend Pho King!
