This place is flawless. The barbecue is steamed to perfection and the ribs are impeccable. Service is nothing special, but it really doesn't haveto be when the food tastes the way it does. Only setback with this place is the line usually wraps around the front sidewalk and if you wait less than 20 minutes then you have lucked out, and that's just to put your order in.
Pros : Best barbecue food you will ever taste
Cons : wait time is a bit long, especially for a self-serve joint
Overall: this is the best bbq i have had in my life. it never disappoints, and i would every week if i could afford it
Value: not going to pretend as though the prices are low, but how can i complain when the food is so well prepared and delicious
Service: there is a greeter who is always happy to see you and everyone who works behind the counter is happy and willing to help you get what you want, even extra bbq sauce, which you should get.
Quality: incredible, meet is soft and tender, the side dishes are delicious. cant say enough good things
I've only been here once, but I can still remember it ... and almost taste it. This is a legit BBQ spot. Has to be the best in San Diego, for sure. The sauce was great; nice and sweet. The menu was huge also. Great stuff.

This has to be the best bbq in San Diego. Amazing bbq. Must be some of the best that I have ever had. Actually surprised to find bbq food this good in San Diego. Their pork and ribs are amazing. Even if you're not a big bbq fan you should check this out and try something different and authentic.

This is the best bbq in San Diego county. Great service, clean, moderate prices and lots of seating room. There is a full service bar as well. You can smell the restaurant before you see it. And don't be detoured by the long line you'll sometimes encounter; they are well staffed and keep the line moving quickly.
Pros : You walk up & place your order, avoiding the expense of tips.
Cons : There is always a crowd, but never a long wait.
