PetSmart is overall a decent place to get all sorts of items necessary when owning pets. The biggest problem I've had is that the employees are clueless. For example, before I knew how to tell the difference between male and female guppies, I asked an employee at PetSmart to help me identify them. It turned out he chose ALL males because the tank was an all male tank. Also, when I took one of the fish back she insisted it was a female and put it in a female tank when it was definitely a male fish. I own guppies and goldfish both of which I bought at this PetSmart. I had some inital problems with guppies but fish like this are weak after so many generations of breeding so I didn't assume PetSmart was too at fault for their deaths and they did refund the fish for me. Overall, I've bought a lot from this PetSmart and am satisfied with what they sell and the prices are a little overpriced but decent. I shop at PetSmart and I believe that in general they try really hard to make it a good place to buy pet items and animals. I'm satisfied.
