I had the unfortunate experience of wandering into this pet store on Valentine's Day. Our intentions were to simply look at the cute pups and continue on with our shopping. As I walked in the door, I knew right away that it was bad. I walked past the kennel windows and 99% of the dogs looked sick and lethargic with the occasional spunky pup who APPEARED to be in just ok condition. A small boston terrier caught my eye as I noticed he was shockingly frail, ribs protruding, curled up in a ball sleeping; we asked if we could see him. The moment I put my hands around him to pet him, I could feel all of is ribs and his fur was flaky with bits of feces matted in his fur. We knew that pet stores are notorious for selling sick dogs and the workers in the store continued to insist that he was extremely healthy and happy. When we looked at his bill of health, the vet (who is partnered with Pets Pets Pets) wrote on 3 different occasions, Dog is in good health... Dog is in good health... Dog is in good health. They claimed he was up to date on all of his vaccines. I knew it was a bad idea to buy a dog from a pet store but I didn't have it in me to walk out the door and leave the poor guy there with those horrible people and in those horrible conditions.... he would have died! So we purchased the little Boston Terrier... brought him in our apartment... where he proceeded to defecate both BLOOD and stool. We immediately took him to an emergency vet where they did blood work, took a stool sample, and had to give him a subcutaneous fluid injection because he was so terribly dehydrated. The tests came back negative for Parvo but POSITIVE for both GIARDIA and COCCIDIA (parasites). Because of this, not only is he on 3 different medications... but our Pug (whom we intelligently purchased from a reputable breeder) is also on medicine now because the vet was concerned that sh
