I drive a European import that was not designed for the heat of the desert. After living her full time for about five years, my car developed a strange ignition problem that I did not know was due to several different parts melting a little her and changing shape a bit. It was not obvious to the eye, but the function of the parts should have made the problem an easy fix for the dealership mechanic. That was not the case and I went to every dealership from Oceanside to Santa Ana, at lease once, including PS. Based on the recommendation of importersâ headquarters out of state, I even left the care at the Mission Viejo dealershipâ mechanic for three weeks of ârehabâ, followed by a relapse a few days latter and two more weeks at the Irvine dealership. The problem only got worse when I took it to each dealershipâs mechanic, but they had no idea about what they did to make it worse and use that knowledge to correct the problem. Their recommendation was buy a new one.
Days later, when my car left me stranded once, I was enjoying the company of another AAA tow truck ride. I asked for a referral and his top recommendation was Peteâs. He was right. They solved the mystery, fixed the problems. I was an am extremely happy with their service, honesty and integrity. I wish I had that must trust in some of my doctors at Eisenhower
