Strange experience...
I took my bike in for a tune up and this guy in the service dept. tells me he has too many bikes- can't get to it for like 3 weeks, but that he could do it "on the side" for me at his house. So he takes my bike outside. to the back alley? and shoves it in his van while he tells me a story of how his ike wah just ripped off from that very van? I was lke, uhm, is my bike going to be safe in there? he guaranteed he was going to go home for lunch right then, and drop it off and fix it for me by the next day. I felt very weird about this and not sure, I should of listened to my gut, but I needed my bike for a ride and the shifters were all messed up. So he gives me his home phone number and tells me to call him tomorrow... turns out, I called for 3 days in a row, no amswer. then the 4th day his mother answers and says she will look for him and i heard his voice in the background, then she said he wasnt there?
