Great In Store Service, Except the Red Phone‎
Love the staff working in the store. A great place to visit once in a while to see what is new and on sale. Had to use the red phone to place an order a few weeks ago. The lady who answered the red phone was not very happy to begin with. She is not familiar with bike parts and I had to help her locate the part numbers...etc. Half way through the process, she even questioned me why my last name is spelled a certain way, and she was not joking with me!!! It was a very negative experience.‎

great pricing, fantastic rewards/loyalty...‎
I shop at Performancebike.com quite frequently, and I appreciate the free shipping to store of regular items. Wheels have a $12 oversize charge to store, and Bikes have a $35 shipping charge. If you see a deal on the website, it would be smart to call your local store too, since they offer the same deals and discounts and you can avoid the shipping all together. If you're going to spend $200 or more in a year, it makes sense to join the buyer's program since you get 10% back on purchases and shop labor. If you buy a bike from them, the store policy is that they will give the original owner free lifetime adjustments. This includes tire inflation, front/rear derailleurs, brakes, and fit. They also offer free wheel truing! Tune-ups/replacement parts are extra. The only negative experience I had was with Justin in the shop. He definitely ...

Good prices, quick service‎
This is a HUGE store with a pretty good selection of items. I was helped the minute I walked in the door, and I bought a transit rack for $25 which they installed free of charge for me on the spot. It was super quick and they were super nice. There's a parking lot for cars, but oddly enough, no bike parking outside, at least not that I could find.‎

Great Prices - And excellent service‎
The team really helped my new-to-biking wife and supported our search for a bike rack. Looked for a part for me, found it, did everything they could to explain. Nice shop too - check em out. Ryan‎

I have always been happy with them!‎
I bought an Iron Horse Mountain Bike from them on sale. It was a great value. Their service department has been friendly and accomodating. They have a great selection of almost anything you could ever want, and the prices are good. I highly recommend Performance Bikes in Berkeley.‎
