Pepperland is Cool
The reviews below mine are full of sour grapes. Pepperland has been in business for a very long time for a reason -- excellent customer service, and the ability of the owner to know what the public wants. ...

Screwed up my Guitar
Horrible sales staff and repairman. They outsource repairs to a hobbyist which explains the low prices because of no overhead costs but also the low-caliber work.

Left my guitar at the shop for their luthier (a person who repairs stringed instruments in case you haven't heard of one Mike) to take a look at for a possible neck reset. I should have known that the sales staff were idiots, not to mention the owner, Mike, who is an ignorant fool, when they all said it was impossible to detach the neck from the guitar. Mike is quite arrogant and condescending, but unjustly so because of the lack of activity in his brain. Making assumptions based off of no education is stupid, and just because you do something a lot, does not mean you've been doing it right, just that you might have done something wrong quite a bit.

However to my credit, it was my mistake for leaving it with them. I asked them to call me and consult with me concerning possible repairs. A few days later I receive a call stating that the work was finished. What work? Crappy work. I unhappily went to pick up my guitar, whereupon arrival I received a lecture from the owner in an attempt to justify the violation of my guitar.

I went home to check how their bridge adjustment fixed my problem. They jeopardized the integrity of my instrument. There is LOW action (to the point that the strings almost touch the frets and cause a buzzing sound) at the top of the fretboard, and still HIGH action at the bottom near the sound hole.

Dear Pepperland, thanks for giving me a loose saddle (which is now completely removable), a shorter bridge, and minimal improvement to the high action at the bottom of the fretboard. The problem was not solved, and I still need to pursue a solution that may now be more complicated than before. You ruined my guitar, and you might be hearing from a lawyer very soon.

P.S. If you

Fabulous music store
This music store has a large selection of older music artists that I grew up listening to. Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Connie Francis, Bobby Darin...now that was music. They have an extensive selection of Beatle albums/CD;s (my all time ...
