We have a food agressive dog and a very shy dog (both are rescue dogs) who need to stay in the same kennel but have to be seperated for meals. After moving to the bay area, PPR was our third attempt at finding a place for our best (albeit quarky) friends. After presenting our requirements to the staff, they proceeded in a calm/confident fashion to meet our dogs and assure us that all would be fine. When we picked them up, EVERYONE was content. No human was bitten, no dog was hungry and best of all neither of our dogs was stressed. This is the first place in CA that has said that we are invited back AND that we want to take our dogs back to. This speaks volumes of Peninsula Pet Resourt!

My dog actually likes to go to Peninsula Pet Resort. The kennels are clean, the staff is knowledgeable and clearly loves animals. Their prices are reasonable, but not cheap. In addition to the expected boarding, feeding, grooming, they also have Yappy Hour and playtime. I had a geriatric dog, and they were wonderful to him. My current dog does not warm up easily to strangers, but she really likes the folks at Peninsula Pet Resort. The groomer is terrific. . I always recommend them.
