Great pizza joint
Monterey is NOT known for pizza and has very little selection. After living here for a year and a half, we stumbled across this Pelican Pizza. It is by far the best bang for your buck, the pizza is priced reasonable (8-12 bucks gets you a nice pie) and the service is good. Most pizza places around here charge $20+ for a large one topping !! In addition, it has a pretty good flavor and is well worth what you pay. Unless you want to drive an hour North for pizza, Pelican is your best bet.‎

Not gourmet or anything special, but the pizza's are good to feed a family or for group gatherings. They deliver and have tasty combinations, with reasonable prices. Perfect for a football game, where the main attraction is not "food ...

Best in Monterey!!
This place might not look like much from the outside, but the pizza is top-notch! One of the few places open when the bars get out, their pizza by the slice is the best in Monterey! If you're a slave to Dominoes or Papa John's, this place isn't for you; THESE GUYS KNOW PIZZA!!!!‎

Great Deal
The pizza is very good and its a great deal for the price. The sides they have are excellent and this is what separates them from all the other pizza chains in the area. I would definitely recommend ordering from them, and trying the chicken wings or cheesy bread.

Huge ripoff for "free" delivery
The pizza is just ok, but way over priced for delivery. They charge almost 70% more for delivery than for pick up, even though they advertise "free" delivery. We got pizza from them every week for months, until we realized how much we'd been ripped off. We'll never eat there again.
