got great dog i listened to staff was not happy as i went for small female and ended up with med. male! But he fit right in with other pets and was housebroken and knew his manners a wonderful dog!

peggy adams and animal care & control of palm beach county are heartless killers. they lie to almost every person who walks through their doors. they take perverse pleasure in sticking a lethal needle in animals and placing them in incinerators. somebody needs to do undercover work on them.

I dropped a cat off their that had 4 kittens..they told me they could take her...NOTE THIS IS A NO KILL SHELTER!!!! 10minutes later they came back and told me they had to put her down because she had Feline Scabies and they couldnt risk her spreading throughout the shelter since it spreads like a plague....So I came home and spent 500.00 to take my other cats to get tested guess what they dont have it!!!!! She (Julia) fed me a bunch of lies to KILL THE CAT because they obviously didnt have enough room even though the site says they'll take all animals..And remember this is a NO KILL SHELTER FOLKS!!! Ya thanks a bunch you ANIMALS KILLERS!!!! That shelter runs on the peoples donations dont forget that!!!‎

I have a littler of kittens under my house. I caught the mom and 2 babies. I was able to give one of the babies away and had to take the other two to Peggy Adams. They would not take the kitten or the mother- calling them strays...ummmm ok so I found a cat and because I caught it...I cant bring it here!?! They make it seem on the web that they will take any cat/kitten...this is a no kill shelter...so the only other option is to take them to animal care and control? Thats sweet- thanks so much!‎

This is a shelter.. its not a pet store.. animals that are there went through abuse, neglect, starvation, and god knows what else. To expect them to be healthy is idiotic, sorry. I am an ASPCA and PETA member and I only adopt and would never by. By walking into a shelter to find a pet, you should be prepared for anything. That is the beauty of those who adopt. They have the conscience to know that the pet might turn out to be a sick pet, yet the heart to still take him in and care for him.

that's the whole point.
