HORRIBLE staff, great products
I can always rely on Pearl for a wide variety of art supplies, and they usually have everything they carry in stock. I might say, as far as supply goes, it's the be4st art supply store in LA.
The staff isincredibly rude and unhelpful.
-When I was offered help, it was from a man much younger than me who started flirting with me and asking me personal questions (are you married, how old are you).
-They can't quite figure out if they have apublic restroom or not- the restroom is very clear, but you need a key, and half the time they will tell me "the restroom is for staff only", the other half the time, I'm given a key.
-They don't have a very clear return/exchange policy. I came with an unusded product in hand, with a reciept, and was told "I'm not supposed to do this but I guess we can exchange it", but then another time, I came without a receipt with a used bottle of paint, and their was no hassle.
-They make it very clear they are socializing and not there to help.--when I ask for help, they will point in the direction of the item, or say they deon't know, then resume their chatter.
I would reccomend this art supply if you are a real pro and know exactly what you need. It is very well stocked, and has two stories of great supplies. Help seems to be offered as a method of flirting, which doesen't sit well with me.
