Rude‎
I went in there and they had to special order some grout for me. As Kara was talking my address and phone number I apologized if I had gone a little too fast. Her response was, "I was getting hacked off at how slow you were going before." Who says that to a customer?? Since they didn't have the complete order she called me to come back to the store which wasn't necessary because the man I talked to said there was no problem and the order would be in soon. Who wants to deal with some catty woman trying to be the alpha chick and bully customers. I've never been treated like that at homedepot.‎

Crooks who should not be in business
I purchased tile from Pawlack's to remodel a bathroom. I put the charges on my VISA card. Nearly a month later, Pawlack's put another $500.00+ on my card without my knowledge. I noticed the charge the day after it was posted and called them immediately. They agreed that the charge was not valid or authorized and told me that the charge would be removed. I called several days later, because the charge was still showing on my card. They said that the only person who could remove the charge was the person who had put the charge on my card and she wasn't in. I called several days later and was told that all of the paperwork had been sent to accounts receivable. Several days later, I called again and was told that the person who was in accounts receivable was pregnant, my not be coming back and my paperwork may have been misplaced. I ask who was going to start taking care of the paperwork and was told that I needed to call and ask for Carol. I waited another few days, called and asked for Carol and was told that she was not in and they didn't know when she would be in. It has been over 2 weeks - -the money has not been returned, no one from Pawlack's had tried to contact me or apologize. The charge had to be deliberate, so I wonder how that type of thing occurs. Do they just pull customer files and make bogus charges? I was putting a lot of charges on my card at the time, in conjuction with the remodel. What if I hadn't noticed? Would I just be out $500? They indicate on their site that they have good customer service- - what a joke. At the very least, they seem to beinvolved in fraud/theft of some kind.

Shouldn't be in business‎
After I purchased tile from them, the tile setter discovered that they were 18 tiles short to finish the job. I was asked to call Pawlack's and authorize the additional purchase. Imagine my surprise when I checked my credit card statement and found that they had made 2 charges. One was for the missing tile and the other was for an amount over $500.00, which I did not authorize or even know about. I called Pawlack's the day after the charge appeared on my statement. They agreed that the charge was incorrect and said that it would be removed from my bill. They also said that the only person who would be allowed to correct the error was the salesperson that made the charge. Several days later, I called again and was told that the paperwork had been turned over to accounts receivable. Several days after that, I called again and was told that the paperwork must have been misplaced and that the person who worked in accounts receivable was pregnant and might not be coming back to work ...

Not worth your time and your not worth theirs!!
After making 4 visits to their showroom, I wish I had a positive review since I live in the same city of Brea, but m I cannot tell a lie, I do not. They have failed to provide me with any form of customer service, noone attempted to inquire if i had any questions and I have basically been ignored by the entire staff. I noticed, at my last attempt on a Monday, 7-8 employees rushing around the office, ordering on the phones in front of their computers, and a few installing tile in the showroom. These installers where the only ones to at least say Hi when I walked by and they didn't even speak english!!I was there over an hour and circled the showroom 3 times,, no luck!! I am Hispanic and would hope In this day and age that I am not being prejudged??,, but I would stongly recommend visiting the tile stores in the Anaheim on St College over this joint!! Ed Pawlack Tile really has nothing to offer, they need to attend some Customer Training courses big time and prove that they really care about their customers,,
